Description

I had to rework this one with a real sky. It just looked like it needed it. Bryce 5 , Photoshop 6, Daz Studio

It's pretty good, but the proportions of most of the objects, eg. trees, ship and man are not quite right. The waves and shoreline are great.

man the waves look so neat, did you do the "splashes" in photoshop or in Bryce, the foaming looking water????

Same as PatchK, good image and concept, the real photo sky sets the image right.

This scene has great impact due to the realistic light/dark contrast in the water and the hazy atmosphere but, as mentioned above, scaling is an issue.

Very few people get all their objects scaled perfectly. This is beautiful despite that...the water and sky are superbe and the story it tells is captivating. Love it!**

There is no doubt this is EXELLENT.I will agree with patchk's comment that the trees in proportion to the man are off a bit but...easily fixed right? You could leave the trees just the way they are and "plant" some taller trees near them and walla done...but this image rocks as is !

Actually, it is not the trees that are so off in proportions as the man and his gear. He would be very tiny if to scale. Still, that is awesome water!

Yes I agree about the man. I remember when I put him in, thinking, I wanted to get him as big as I could to show more detail, but I think he is too big. If smaller he would match better with the trees and the ship. Maybe I'll re-do this one later and repost.

I agree with the other comments about the man not being to scale being distracting, but otherwise, what an amazing picture!
