Description

Dedicated to "All Things of Such Beauty"... This is the Last Remaining Forest, known to man, of the nearly extinct - Western Sierra Nevada Mountain's "Blue Eyed Lupine"!!! Before modern logging methods, stands of these Mammoth Beauties, carpeted the mountainsides everywhere you looked! But NOW-these are of such rarity-one might only see them but a few thousand times during one's life. I captured these magnificant creatures with my trusty Fuji 5000 (boy was I lucky to have it with me!). Thankfully they were kind & did not harm me at all. So as Arnold has always said - "I'll be Baackkk". Oh yeah-Christmas is Comming, want to see our Glass Gifts? Thank You one and all for looking at my pix's...

I love Lupin, they are one of my favorites! This is a gorgeous shot, so glad that they were a tamer group! I have been stalked by them before, it can be disconcerting!! Silly! LOL!! 8-)
