Description

Recently I was in the beachtown of Goa in the northwestern coast of India. Early one morning, I saw this fishing catamaran returning after a fishing trip. In the background is the huge ore carrier. They both float. One carries fish, the other iron ore! It is just a matter of size!!

I love watching passing ships and this an excellent comparison. the freighter looks a little worse for wear, but still floating.Maybe the ore has stained the sides. I can imagine how hard it is for those fishermen to oar that large launch. excellent capture Suresh

Just a matter of size? Hmmm... Not sure.. I think we could say a lot of things with that shot... One is polluting, the other one not... One is necessary for life, the other one not really, etc... etc... Cool shot!

I'd hate to be in the way of the big ship when its moving especially when the fishermans boat is powered by paddles only. Beautiful capture of both life styles in the ocean. Aloha

It's all about perspective, and it's the boat in front that is the biggest! :) Thought-provoking work, very original, Suresh!

The image also gives a great perspective how size really is. Curious as to what all that is in thier boat.
