Description

No African grey this time but November grey. November many times is associated by me with the color grey. When you look at this picture- which is a bit dull and off balanced :-)- you know what I mean. I took this picture today. Location: Reeuwijkse Plassen nearby the city of Gouda. Plassen= lakes. Formed by digging out peat of the ground. Leaving bare ground behind which formed lakes in the end. In Holland. this took place from the 17th till the 20th Century. So come on and let's hear your grey and dull comments..:-)))..

There is something pleasant about the muted colors of November. It's as if the world has paused after all the brilliance of the fall. A time for solitary walks and hot tea and a good book when you return. Looks like a nice spot to visit anytime.

November, the month I typically associate with grey dull days, 4 C and apparently nothing intersting. But a closer look always reveals details worth to be noticed! Impressive work, Oskar! :)

Oh yeah, know what you mean... Probably the most depressive month in the year... Here, it's more white than grey, this year... buit you're right. Splendid shot!

Excellent capture of this November mood. A quiet and peaceful scene. We have the same grey here, may be a little bit more dark. ;o)
