Description
This is from an incredible week of thunderstorms which hit my area 2 years ago. I got several good pictures, but it cost me a TV, an amplifier, and (oddly) the IO subsystem in my computer, all damaged by lightning. :(

i've pain of thunderstorm... when them come i remove all energy from my electronics elements... it's better so... btw... you've done a very beautiful shot! waitin' for the next shots!

Growing up in the lightning capital of the USA I can sympathize. Awesome shot though! I love thunderstorms!

Uh oh... these high voltages ruin your elctronical equipment, better just watch these celestial shows far away from this expensive stuff (except the cam, of course! :)

This is freakin awesome! I grew up in Florida, the lightning state, so Ive seen this sort of thing before. But Ive never captured it on film (or whatever) like this before!

Fantastic photo! I got hit some months ago. It destroyed, the computer, the telephone, the printer and water heater...and I didn't even get a photo!

double too bad about your loss. I love the capture of lighting. I was trying the other night but it started a light rain and I rather have my camera dry so all I got was one. I learned already turn stuff off when a storm is approaching

You recall a bad and frighted souvenir. A few years ago, thunder has fall on my street and a jet of thunder (with a strange purple color) has run from the window into my working room right on my PC screen. I do not tell you the result, its still very vivid in my mind. Great shot John and so sorry for destroying of your material.
