took this last Sunday. relative small butty about 1 1/2 -2" wide. never could have got it with Fuji macro. I may have seen one of this breed before but never could approach so I do not know. I believe it is Common name: Mangrove Buckeye Scientific name: Junonia evarete thanks for viewing and comments have a wonderful day

Dont know what it is either,maybe it is bat food:D Either way he is beautifully coloured and sun glinting is fabulous.I love it!

Love the Title. When I first saw it I thought " who is Canon ? " LMAO. I just woke up so at this point I am not the sharpest tack in the bunch. lol. This is extraordinary. That looks like a 1:1 ratio macro. Really impressive. What lens did you get for the canon ? That is a beautiful butterfly. I dont think I have ever seen one like it. If I did, I probably thought it was a monarch since I wouldnt be that close. lol. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing all this technical info about the cameras with us. Very useful. HUGSSSSS
