Description

Something different from the likes of me. I have a love affair with trains, trams and the underground which I am ashamed to say I havent really explored photowise until recently. Shame on me. This is a combination of 2 of my loves, actually. Bridges and trains...over lightly dappled water. The approaching night was damp and cold, threatening frost. hope you enjoy. no postwork. Anna

One of the first shots you ever sent me was of the underside of a bridge over dappled water in Sheboygan. Think it was accidentally double-exposed with something else which looked pretty cool. Then there was that railway outside your old apartment. So yeah, guess you do have a thing about bridges and trains :-) Nice shot, I just noticed the motion-blur of the train, gives it a nice sense of movement. Typically English feel :-)

Really atmospheric image. No postwork or crop required here, because you've captured the mood - the silence in the scene, then the crashing moments of noise as the train trundles over the bridge. I'd love to have seen a second shot where the train is frozen with a panning action and the bridge blurred - they would be stunning as a pair. Well done Mrs Raven :)

You do love trains!? That will cause you to have flash-relations like brid(g)es and trains! ;) Wonderful work, once loving trains always loving trains! Impressive work, the blurred trace of the train shows the speed very well! :)
