Description
Well I finally had time to do Aquarius.... only... two... more ... left. GAHHH, the hardest ones too lol I ALWAYS slow down at this point, coz theres no damn goat or crab...
Aquarians are the humanitarians of the zodiac... and also the mad scientists lol They're ruled by Uranus (snickers -- I just know someone is going to make a joke!) and the planet makes them incredibly inventive - but also makes them seem aloof and introspective at times. Anyhoo, to explain the picture.... I'm sure some are looking at it like wtf?? Isn't she supposed to bear water?? Well, yes... but Aquarius is an air sign. Something I never quite understood about the Zodiac - Why do they call it the Water bearer, if its an air sign? So, I put a diff spin on it. I did a similar one in my last set too and thot I would keep the idea. So that's my story and Im stickin to it. I used another one of Shesa's characters, Phoebe. I haven't used her in eons.... but she's another one of my faves.

Such a lovely image! Love the idea of the flutterbies coming out of the urn, rather than water. All those water/air sign things drive me nuts. There's just no real reason for the symbolism in many of the signs.... Now, as to the crab and goat... Go get some photos and postwork them! LOL!

A most beautiful image depicting Aquarius and I truly love the hues in this image, my favorite colors! The flutterbies (?) look fantastic and integrate perfectly within the scene! As for a crab, I think Content Paradise has or had a nice one in the free section if I'm not mistaken. As far as the confusion of the water/air dilemma goes, perhaps they considered rain to correspond with the air sign. Either that or they were drinking too much ale! LOL! Outstanding work!

I love the flutterbys instead of the water S quite imaginative and superb work on this sign S its not so much the water itself as the flow and ebb of life that the Aquarius governs I have always thought so S Stunning werk hun *and BTW you dont always have to have a goat for Cappy - tis a seagoat atter all if that helps the ideas to flow S HUGS
