Description

An old AD&D style image. When I was working on THE MONSTROUS COMPENDIUM for TSR, one of my sections was "Giant Lizard". I'd noticed that in previous works, Giant Lizards and Black Dragons were listed as prefering similar habitats. It seemed a logical deduction to make the fiercesome Giant Lizard the natural prey of the even more fiercesome Black Dragons. And I threw myself in as the wayward adventurer making this discovery. Does make me wonder, what is the food that a black dragon prefers?

LOL! LOL! LOL! Boy, does that bring back memories. Yes, classic AD&D, back in the days when I first played (late 70s). Thanks for sharing this with us David.

Only difference between humans and giant lizards might be that a human's like a piece of candy, while the lizard's a whole meal. Or something like that. My guess is that the lizard would taste like chicken...
