Description
As usual I found these guys late in the afternoon when the lighting was bad ( I am going to keep an eye out and see if they come back when the lighting is better) They were harvesting pollen from my Angels Trumpet, a notorious plant for being toxic and a hallucinogenic plant. The pollen is white so they looked like little poodles with big white balls on their legs :-)
I have a question for everyone and I may post this in the forums. I am thinking of getting a new camera for Christmas, one that is a step up from my Kodak DX6490 4mp 10x optical zoom. I am looking at the Panasonic Lumix 8mp DMC-FZ30S with 12x Optical zoom and image stabilization. Anyone use this camera and if so what do you think of it?

LOL! Hallucinating bees, what would they see then! ;) Splendid capture, sometimes a (fill-in) flash can help but this one is not too dark. Terrific work, Wendy!

I have not used that camera , but if you want a fixed lense camera may I suggest a Fuji 9000. it has tremendous quality for an all around use camera and 9 million pixels. if I had none it was on the market I probably would have gotten it instead of my Canon. super bee capture. I have a bee in my gallery loaded with white pollen also
