Description

Final Stages of this texture and character, any helpful comments gratefully appreciated. The digital photographs taken for this texture belong to the face of my Mom, Madeline. In case you are wondering, Madeline does have weepy red eyes. But they are a startling blue, sometimes they also look like robins eggs, and she loves us all with those eyes. Anyway, Im finishing up the body texture now, and will go off to work again. Have a great day! Poser

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and judging by the beauty in those eyes, the rest speks for itself. Terrific render Syyd!

such a wise look.... tell your mom to try some bright eye tea for her eyes. it will help soothe them. Also, natural eye drops will ease the redness and the weepiness. I love the textures and someday hope to be able to use them... =]

I adore the fact that you are doing such integral beauty. Your mother has seen the world as only a mother can. She has borne you and taught you. She has loved you and worshipped you. She has held you and protected you. Her eyes have shared their wisdom and purity with you. I thank you both for sharing these gifts with us through your textures and your friendship. hugs

Two primary perspectives here, first the emotive, and then addressing your request: I do not have words enough nor time enough to delve, but I look at her and I'm smiling; but at the same time there is a catch or hitch at the base of my throat, and I feel almost ready to cry & my heart aches. I know there is more than just one reason for this response inside of me, know too that explanation is for another place & time. She really is just so real for me. You say suggestions are appreciated: there is a ridged aspect that I am seeing near the upper part of her forehead where the texture seems to almost fall away a bit, becomes fainter almost too quickly; I'm not sure how much is due to the lighting, or if it's intentional or no... if it's not, maybe a bit of gentle feathering would soften it up just a touch? Anxiously awaiting the final... :)

I'm so sorry I've been amiss in commenting on your amazing work. This character/texture....I think it's the best work you've ever done, and believe me, if anyone knows your work, that is saying something. What fantastic soul you put into your characters. I think your Mother must be a very special lady to have such a wonderful, artistic and talented daughter. I look forward to seeing the complete character :)

Syyd you are a master!!! this is fantastic. Your attention to detail in your texturing is rediculous. Shows me just how far I have to go in learning "the Art " of texturing.Your whole gallery is top notch. This one spoke to me though, im blown away...Cia!

I pity not coming to your gallery before! MARVELOUS works! You have the care to add a "charecter" that few even recall! A deep greatfuless for your sharing your talent with us. As for comments, I am sorry to nag, but the eye bags are TOO vividly pronounced from the rest of the texturings. It could be because of the texturings or that part have had been prepared by you and not via a photograph. Most of us skip the fact that there is the colour BLUE in our skin and always go for the reds and yellows and ochers. It is great fortune to see that you are NOT one of them. But I would have hoped for it to compliment all the other parts that of which requests the skin to be thin. and other than that the forehead; it's wrinkling is decending in the wrong direction. This would be the perfect angle for a dropped brow, but your state is clearly not "dropped"! Don't mind my pickiness. I am just making use of not being the oe doing only the talking. Of all Ihave seenn this is probably the best so far and the dencist! It is just that such a work SHOWS anything wrong.. because it is TOO perfect all over!
