Description

Sure ... go from the Ice Arena to a Spring Garden! lol Only me. :) Thanks for stopping by ... my previous upload of Dani on the ice was taken during last Sundays game...just before she got hurt. First, a puck crashed into her knee and when the coach insist she get out there again, then number 16's skate hit her in the same spot. She's been unable to walk on it since. Xray shows a possible fracture; we'll know for sure in a day or so. Possible MRI .. blah blah ... she thinks she can play in this weekends game. There's just no way. She'll be on crutches for a while I'm afraid. Anyway, so, that's why I'm thinking of Spring... I miss the flowers and birds and warm air, and sweet smells ............ Beautiful colours and texture. Yes, the texture adds a lot of class. The colour of the flower is so tender. It does remind you that if winter is here can spring be ...etc. etc.

Beautiful, love the effect you used. I know it must be cold up your way when the high here today is only in the 60's Brrrrrrrr for a Florida girl. I am going to another wildlife sanctuary sometime this weekend hopefully I will get some bird shots for ya. Sorry about your (daughter?) I broke my toe not too long ago, breaks and fractures can be painful.

Awww, I'm sorry your Dani has been hit so badly twice! I really hope she'll recover soon, it's great tp practice sports but getting hurt is no fun at all! Springtiem, that will take some time after a cold winter but ... it's the winter adding the contrast of new life returning into nature even more! :)

A beautiful and well thought-out composition. It would have been too busy if all flowerheads had been sharp, but 3 + 3 is splendid, and nicely arranged in two triangular shapes. I like too the gentleness and simplicity of the colouring. The post work is fine too. Sorry about your blushes! Sorry too to learn of your daughter's mishaps. At least her spirit is sustained. Cliff.
