Description

This image is a fanciful interpretation of one of the "Snail Riders of Lothlorien", a term applied to the Ops of a chat room I go to. This particular op goes by the name of "BlindWolf", thus the blind wolf riding the snail! Snail created in Rhino, tex created in Photoshop, the Wolf is the remappe "Big Face" wolf, from... err... can't remember right offhand... Rendered in Poser with a DomeLight setup (thanks for the tut, REMC), minor touchups in Photoshop

Domelight basically means the scene is almost entirely surrounded by dim, shadowcasting lights, with a single mid-brightness light source. All these dim lights become cumulative and total up to a bright scene, and also simulate radiosity. REMC has a great tutorial for it here.
