be honest ? ok....i think the textures on the body look to wide just dont look right...the ship its self looks really neat as does the ships lights....also i'd say buy vue...vue 5 espirt would be great. and use gl or gr lighting...works great on this kinda work

The only thing I would think of to add would be another set of downward thrusters to even out the ship. The way it looks now, it would flip itself over. Either that or put the thrusters in the middle. But I think it's a hell of a model!

It looks fine to me - but, I really don't know anything about space ships :)

I love it! Another super model, well rendered. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the blue/white tex.Don't know if it just needs scaling up or it's the colour...purely personal taste! Great Job!

I'm with Forevernyt on this. It does look a tad unbalenced. Mats and modelling are top rate as always and the finish is interesting too.

I think the textures look just fine. Technically, yes it would be out of balance, but since when do fantasy and sci-fi works have to explain technical difficulties? Great work, Phil. I like it as is.

Great render,............the only thing that bothers me is the light blue tendril texture on the clyindrical belly portion. Outstanding model though.

looks cool! i agree with Forevernyt too, it would be tricky to keep the thing balanced, maybe just one thruster in the rear would round it out. might try some DOF or motion blur, maybe heatwaves in the air, as a next step, heck it's already cool enough.

Another great model and render Phil. For me the thrusters are too big for the ships body. Maybe make the body slightly longer with a roundish nose/cockpit to lose the visual "squareness" of the ship. Agree thrusters in the middle or 2 more at the front. Overall - Frikkin excellent as usual!

Impressive modeling and looks like a lot of work with the hydraulic. Has my vote.

I think the issue on scale is that there is little to nothing in the pic that connotes how big this thing really is. Is it a single man scout ship or a troop mover that holds hundreds? From this pic as a stand alone it is hard to tell. Going back to the panels...if this is a single man ship they probably look about right but if it is a troop carrier then each panel looks like it is the size of multiple men. My eye tends to be drawn to the red circle on the center belly...that might be a plce to make a statement about size. (Not to change the model but if, for example, there were something like a glass gunnery turret in the center of that design with a guy or two in it it would make scale obvious) The other bit that gives a kind of "known" quality is the yellow and black stripes. Because my brain has a picture of something like these stripes in a caution or construction context it uses that clue to create a notion of scale. All that being said scale kills me all the time and this is an excellent piece no doubt. I just figured you wanted nit picky..so I did.

Honesty... OK here goes.... The thing that bothers me about the design is that the engines are not mounted at the balance point in terms of weight. It looks as though it would flip over rather than lift off.

Yeah I agree with the statements about VTOL stabilization, you should have at least one more engine in the back. Other than that, this model rocks!!!

Love the design, can you tone down the painted areas, they seem a bit stark. Gett'n better all the time.

A good-looking industrial ship design; adding a back set of thrusters would make the ship more "realistic" but it might not be as attractive. If the cockpit windows were lit or more transparent to see the pilot, we would get a better sense of scale. Textures seem OK to me, especially since you have added an interesting post-render effect that gives the image a bit of a hand-done illustration quality.
