Description
This is another one of my Orixás series. This is Xangô´ ( read - shango, with the "go" as the strong sylable), a strong name for a strong man. Xangô´ was miticaly a King ,who deals with administration and mainly justice, what put him in a higher hierachy among other orixás, not only to Oxalá. Xangô´ is the administrator who binds to Oxalá i's old wisdom, and listens to it when deciding fates.
His figure is strong, an altogether man, indivisible, non-removable, the figure of authority. His decisions are always considered wise, weighed , right and fair. He decides over good and evil. The Orixá of the thunder and lightning (like Iansã, one of his wives than comes with his thunder). The lightning is one of his weapons that he sends as punishment, but never on an irracional way. he´s always neutral, he decides things like a legal process when there is no shadow of a doubt. One of his symbols is the double axe, a symbol of his power, he couldn´t look to only one side of the problem, but equaly to both. His strengh is on the rock formations. His rocks are whole, unbreakable, still and strong as Xangô´ is.

Outstanding and magnificent image of an immensley strong character. The dark background and minimal use of color really gives this the perfect atmosphere. This is just superb and so far my fav in this wonderful series.

Wow, this character looks very powerful and not just by that incredibly amazing body but the composition itself remarks the concept described below. Strong and wise at the same time, the red bandanna warms the cold feeling given by white lightings against black sky. Excellent colour selection, and awesome work!
