I've been into digital art since 7th grade, when I got a Mac Quadra 800 and found a copy of Photoshop 4 in the trash, recovered it and started messing around with it. Since then, I've discovered more tools to add to my arsenal, and have enjoyed almost every step of the way from then to now. Though I haven't really done a stellar job in science classes, especially subjects like physics, I've found science and sci-fi to be great sources of inspiration for my work. I would often watch the science and sci-fi channels for a while just to get even the smallest sliver of an idea, and let my mind go wild with it.

I have a gallery of my own called Nightwatch Productions. I also have some of my work for sale as prints on Deviant Art. Check them out.

So glad to see you pitching back in with this beauty. The sky especially is glorious.

The foreground is a bit strange and dark but the postwork planets are super...cool image!!

Nice use of lunarcell. the cities look a bit bizzare in this sky, but it's cool anyway.

I like the way the sunbeams have thrown the foreground into shadow. Not sure about the crescents of those moons, however. There may be an astronomical reason why they appear the way they do, but I would have surmised by the sun's apparent location (vanishing point) that the crescents would be about 30-45 degrees of arc lower. My only reservation for an otherwise outstanding render of an alien world.
