Your off to a nice start historically its incorrect in many ways . . . but the "flavor" of an middle eastern city is kind of there. The ship is nicely done however. The walls are far from Egyptian in nature and Egyptian cities were for the most part un-walled the temple complexes were. Their buildings were white washed and the roof tops were used as kitchens in almost all houses even the rich.

A well composed piece but lacking in a couple of areas. The palm trees are too much alike although I can see you did try to vary them and of course there are no people about. 197mb file is not that big for Bryce so unless you have an underspec machine I think you could add at least a couple of charecters. Nicely done so far....

Cool to see you back my friend (you seem to have been away just as long as me from Renderosity :-) As always, wery detailed and high quality work.. with the difficulties you describe you maybe should consider converting to another 3d application? I would love to see this scene setup and rendered eg. with 3ds max. Excellent stuff
