Hi Guys! I took this shot earlier this evening, I like the lighting and the new snow. I don't like shoveling the snow though! In the back ground is a part of Mammoth Mt called Dragon's Back. It is a place where extreme snowboarders and skiiers like to go. I do like to snowboard my self, but you will not catch me up there!! Thanks to all for your awesome comments on my last post Party Time, I gather there are not a lot of seagull fans! I like them, growing up on the beach. I like to throw food up to them. Actually I think the crows ( Ravens, soul chickens, what not... )are more obnoxious they allways bomb my car, and get in to the trash bin! all though they are interesting birds.

OH MAN!!!! You beat me to it!!!! Now I have to rush out and get some snow pictures!!!! LOL :P I missed a few good ones on the way to work this morning, but slow going in slush and couldn't stop or I'd be late. The sky looks awesome in this one, Janice! Great job!!!!

Too bad for me. I have to wait for it to snow on top of Mauna Kea. It should be soon. Otherwise, no snow in Hawaii. Beautiful colors. Aloha

Very chilly looking image, with an ominous sky behind. very nice photography!!! ** soul chickens????? who calls them that???? crows & ravens are so different!!!! they're extremely smart, can be taught to talk too!!! just fyi... ;)

[give me a call for shoveling - fine by me! :D] an interesting contrast between the sky and the bluish snow; still, the sky is overexposed and doesn't look so natural - I bet that the scene you've seen (what a rhyme :D) was more beautiful! have a very nice weekend!

Oh Janice!!! THAT IS GORGEOUS!!! What an incredible wintersky. Beautiful!!!!! It sure looks like you guys got more snow than we....not complaining. I dont like showeling it either, lol. And as far as seagulls goes...i do like them. I find them quite beautiful...but dangerous, lol. But most of all i love Ravens. I think they look soooo cool. Must be the viking-blood in me or something. Have a great weekend. #:O)
