Chemical Warfare... White Phosphrous... Charred flesh melting from bodies of babes... The agony... The pain... The screams... War crimes... Geneva Convention... Secret Prisons... Torture... agony... Acts Against Humanity... Control... Not wealth... Ultimate Power... One power... Crude oil... electricity...heat...factories...jobs... Planes... Trains... Trucks and cars... Control... Power.. . Global... Death... Men... Women... Children... Charred flesh melting from bodies of babes... Rivers of blood... Haunted eyes... Terrorists... Who? Who? We or them? Or are we them? Have we become? Social Conscience.. no... NO It can't be... Don't think... Don't hear... Follow.. blindly.. believe... Don't hear the words... Don't understand their meaning... I can't breathe....

Always knew ya had the writer in ya :) Just gotta be motivated. Great poem, written beautifully and very descriptive. With the way things are now in the world, not all see the truth or want to. You did a great job capturing the truth and verbally speaking it. Bravo!

This is a very convicting poem. It really stuck me today, as I just got done reading a very emotional article about PTSD that soldiers come home with, and felt it deeply because of losing the man I knew and my marriage to war and PTSD. Thank you for writing.

FireTemptress.. I'm so .. so .. very sorry. My prayers are as a voice.. a united voice.. someday maybe we can speak the heartbreaking harsh words with such conviction .. the shroud surrounding them becomes transparent. My sincere apologies for my late response, this is simply wonderful and I am so sorry I missed it before. I do hope you continue to add your writings, your voice another in the fight that I am proud to hear, thank you so much for this. My condolences also to FireTemptress..so many lost and so many tears that never quite cleanse as they should. For those of us who care this is important , speak loud and strong Bahi! It never sieces to amaze me when friends of mine think because we are doing it makes it right but if someone else is doing it then they are evil evil people. Very powerful words I wish everyone would read them
