Description
This started as a fractal, but then I took it into PS and layered another fractal over that. About 6 layers in total, flattened, sharpened and lit from the sides. After all that I did not think it would qualify as a fractal anymore.

I don't know if it qualifies as an abstract anymore either, but it did turn into an interesting piece of work.. I like the interplay of the colors and shapes very very much!

I definitely see this as an abstract. As a color freak, this just hit me between the eyes! Wow! I'm in heaven viewing this. When I was working with XD, I always used it as a 2D program trying to make fractal designs that didn't look exactly like fractals, so I think you did a good thing in reworking this in PS. It came out a success in my mind. Beautiful work and a very nice presentation.

A beautiful abstract. I love the colors. The lines and curves and texture is wonderful. I'll have to try something like this with my fractal. This is just wonderful.

Very impressive abstract! Bold and beautiful colors! I would say it is still a fractal considering that with UF you can place as many fractals on top of each other and still have a fractal. It just depends on the person I guess. Fantastic job!
