FW200 is my favorite bomber from WW2. It has such sleek lines. Not the best performance but nice lines.

The FW200 built up quite a good record in the Battle of the Atlantic as a convoy scout for the U-boats and as commerce raider on it's own using bombs and guided missiles, until the use of CAM ships and escort carrier groups curtailed it's operational abilities later in the war, that and a tendency towards structural weakness, it had been a civil aircraft to begin with. I have to admit I have always been partial to the Heinkel He 177, it being about the only heavy bomber that was opertional with the Luftwaffe, dispite it's persistant engine troubles.

The He 177 did have engine problems, probably due to placing 2 high power engines inline in the same nacelle. Again thanks for the great illustrations!
