Now this is an example of why engineers should not style cars. It is an important milestone in that sense in being pre-ItalDesign. In the U.S. it is a Lincoln before Edsel took over. It is also what is under the drape in the studio in design class when the bright student asks, "What will we be covering in class this semester?" There is a scuffling of chairs as the canvas is pulled off and everyone is asked to stand up so their chair can be replaced by a pop crate. "Sit down," the instructor calls. "Hold the dinner plate in front of you arms out" "This is the look of ergonomics. Fooled you, didn't I?"
