Description

If you look at yesterdays post, you'll find these apartments in thier fullsize glory. They arent. to be honest, the most awesome flats in the world. The general design of the building fits common modern architectural attempts you see all over London and Manchester alike. But in this detail, I think the crop does it justice, as you likely would overlook the design of these flats in a fullsize image. The entire section (again referring back to yesterday) looks like a futuristic island, set apart from the rest of the city by the river. Its odd that directly across from this is the tremendous architectural/emotional giant - The Imperial War Museum, with its Shard design and its flat cold steel and hard lines. Beyond that, is the Wheetabix factory and beyond that..of all things..Old Trafford stadium. What a wierd handful of old and new, commercial and art. but enough from me, thanks for viewing.. I wish I had more shots like these. Ill have to see what I can scrape up..been too lazy lately, though I do have some interesting shots from London to finish up. cheers Anna

The building itself is so sci-fi, it almost makes me feel like I'm watching...like...Star Wars or something o.O; Great capture, the perspective is amazing.
