Description

I think it is good enough to present it as a finished version. I'am not really satisfied with some details, and everytime my inner voice says to me: "Put more datails in it!" ... rendered with vray, modelled with 3dsmax 7, and a lot of power from eon bayern...

I think it's great. I'm the same way when I make something, then I find out it's to much. Excellent work.

Very cool modelling, textures and lighting. Thanks also for the explanation, I think many of us have it this way when we do 3d (me too).. some call it perfectionism, some say that it is the only way to achive a great work. I think it is both. Only small suggestion I have here, since it all look great, is that there seem to be some antialize issues (jagged edges some places in the image), do you know why this is? Its a pity for this excellent work when presenting it.. but never the less an EXCELLENT from me :-)

Ooh, I recognize the sound of that inner voice. As an outer voice, I'll say that the set looks very complete. The mech looks awesome, great modeling. As reactions go my first was that the mech's texture was too even. Great work on the rust/distressing, especially like it around the canopy. Perhaps it is too evenly dispersed in the cracks only. Contextually, it looks like they work hard to keep the 'beast' in shape but maybe I'm expecting some larger random distress ( a second or third coat of paint over older chipped layers) on the leading edge where it might have had more impacts. Don't let that inner voice push you around, You're the artist! Thanks for posting the final.

I too like the texturing on the mech, I also really like the texture you've got on the wall behind the mech, great job :)

It looks excellent and finished to me!! Wonderful modeling and texturing! I would like a render with less lightning from above and more lightning coming through the floor too :)
