Description

The other night, on one of those celebrity news clips, I caught the tail end of Paris Hilton showing off her new diamond encrusted watch... complete with five time zones of her favourite cities. New York, Paris, yadda, yadda, yadda. One hundred thousand dollars for that bit of bling bling. And I got to thinking that I could truly use one of those puppies. But instead of depicting the time in New York, Paris, yadda, yadda, yadda... I would have it set up to remind me what time the local grocery store closes... how much time I have left to return rented DVD's... how much longer the hamburger helper needs to cook... when the cats need to be fed... and when it's safe to turn out the lights and go to bed. And instead of diamonds... I'm thinking small jellybeans might be just the ticket... energy when there's no time to eat properly... you know? Just gnaw on your wrist and get on with life... ;)

UF with border and sig in PSP. I also added the small gold beads in PSP... I just wanted to see if I could "Trump" up an already Ivana-ish spiral... lol!

Thanks so very much to all of you for your very gracious feedback on "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings"... your words and time are always hugely appreciated! And thank you for stopping long enough to have a look at this. Hugs! Helen :)

A great description for this wonderful fractal! I think you've Trumped it up just fine but can't help but think how nice it would be if you did have a piece of jewelry like this. The jelly beans can be on the side but not where the cat can get at them, cats don't seem to chew very much. Terrific lighting and irridescence, those diamonds are sure shining on!

Wow I love your great sense of humor! That is a hoot of a story! I think I would love to have a jellybean watch (better yet M&M's)! I just don't get people (the rich that is) it seems they have more money than sense (hopefully no one rich and famous will sue me for my opinion). It just doesn't make sense to me what they buy or why they would pay that much. As for the fractal, it truly is a gem! It is truly clear, crisp, and elegant! Almost can feel the gold and pearls! Well done!

I think your precious fractal is far more beautiful than the lifestyle of the rich and famous. This is a stunning spiral, an excellent piece of work. V

BLING BLING. This would suit the rich and famous for sure. All real gold and diamonds and pearls. And charge them with an absurd price then they'll buy it, guaranteed. Your watch would be a real "consumer"-item. The price shouldn't be too high so you can easily buy a new one (in another flavour) once you've consumed it. And the image is really gorgeous.

A very beautiful spiral. Yes, I could use a watch like you want. I need to be reminded of many things as I grow older!

A shore 'nuff beauty! Even the hillbillies would enjoy this although they wouldn't have anywhere special to wear it... well, with the exception of the local cafe and then they would certainly be outcasts for "showing off"! ;) Tis lovely, sis! :)

Gorgeous, despite the glittery trappings. :~) I love the little gold beads..and the cream and lavendar is a sublime mix. A real beaut, Helen! Excellent fractal art, as always. LOL, and if you find out there is such a watch, sign me up. My brain is on screensaver much of the time these days.

Your creation tells me that the same thing must happen to the wealthy--look, feel and buy! If I've left out any step, it was simply and oversight. By the way," Is this for sale? I'd like to buy it for a rich friend!! I've never seen jewellery like it.Name your price!MMmmmmmmm!!
