Description

I had to do 60 sketches for a painting class I am taking and I have such a hard time doing simple sketches. I am going to post some of these sketches to see what everyone thinks. My reference - http://fugzz.deviantart.com/ This is Charcoal & Pastel on colored paper. Thanx for looking!

Link didn't work..Creepy! Looks like a Halloween pic. I like the composition! I like the minimal use of color, really makes the eyes "Pop". I think the key is to find subjects you like to draw, I assume that you find plenty from this site to work with, that's good! I know for me, I am drawn to animals. When I draw animals I get lost in the form and the details, humans, for some reason I find much harder. It's probably a psychological thing, I feel an expectaion that it should be "Exactly" like the subject, something I don't feel as much drawing animals. I have a friend who will only draw from live nudes. Just keep loose and have fun! Can't wait to see the others!

I have a page on DeviantArt where I put alot more stuff. They also have alot of stock images that give me inspiration. Although I like to draw pretty much anything and everything.
