Description

It was sudden and quick. Though she could hardly stand,her last gesture was to stand up and rub against my leg, as if to thank me for our time together. Then she laid down and purred till she was gone. Farewell friend.

I feel for you. I know how much it hurt's to loose a best friend rather it to be a person, dog, or cat. You know what they say Cat's and Dog's are man's/womans's best friend. But I know she's in a better place now. So, remember the good time's with her. ;o) Stay cheered up. She'll alway's be watching.

Lost my best friend, my dog, recently. He was only 7 years old but had a bad disease of the kidneys. Was very hard on me so I know what you're going through.

Thanks all. Butter was a special cat who's life started badly until I found her, and although she only lived here 3 years she was always treated well here.

So sorry for your loss. Yes, that last gesture brought tear to my eyes too. We lost two kitties a few months apart. The loss is always worse than thought possible. We have a new kitty now. Someone told me once our kitty angels bring the right one to us for replacing the loss, and even though they are not exactly the same as the one(s) we lose, they will be a good replacement for our comfort ... and a good home for the new kitty.
