first I dedicate this to Cynlee's birthday I took these 2 days apart in my yard before a cold snap came in. this is a Barlett Pear tree that bears no fruit. yesterday's fotos-- the left was Canon and the right Fuji thanks so much for your visit and comments

All it takes is a drop in temperature to kill those chloroplasts and then the other colors can reveal themselves. Have you ever considered doing a four seasons series of this lovely tree? Do you ever get snow during the winter? Wouldn't Ms.Bartlett look stunning drapped in a blanket of white. Great contrast photos.

Boo on the cold snap....I like the before pics betters tho this one still does have a great appeal to it....Were under a Winter Storm Watch starting tomorrow so your friend in E town is under it too...
