We have those around here too...and I'm sooooo tired of hearing them...LOL They're sitting on every telephone line, on every roof, on every spot where nothing else is sitting actually...and they're messy. It's still a great shot though. I like the colours in this...the bluish/greyish feathers and the red eyes and claws are incredibly sharp.

This is a very handsome pigeon!! He looks to be a blue tumbler too me!! I think this is one of the best photo's of a pigeon I have seen!! Very clear! When we were kids we had pigeons. When my parents were gone my brother and I would climb on the roof of our 2 story house and watch the pigeons tumble. Unfortunetly my parents made us get rid of them because they were so messy. I also had a few when I was living on the beach as a young adult. They were fun and would always come in the house and land on peoples heads! They were quite the conversational piece! By the way I have to agree with Georgy!! You would be very missed!! 8-)
