This is looking really good. I think I would move the characters eyes apart so they don't look so crosseyed in the mask. In the movies, the actors wear black makeup around their eyes to blend it in to the mask. Maybe you could try that with the texture.

You should grab the free Batman belt off Animotions.com.... besides that, looks like the bat insignia on his chest is lopsided. Is there a hole under the mask? Something looks odd there, looking forward to see how this progresses....

I like your images, but maybe you can set his eyes further apart to fit the cowl. He always looks a bit cross-eyed.
