Description

My first posting to the list. This is my new AD&D character, Thorn Blackmire. He's a fighter with all the traits needed to fight two handed (for those AD&D fans out there :). Credits go to Ennui for the GREAT ennui character! Swords I found somewhere (in the free stuff - thanks and cudo's for them :) Geometry was exported to Lightwave. Minor post touch-ups in Photoshop. I know the blurring of the nearest sword is VERY bad - however I didn't want to render out multiple passes (the current one is the Lightwave DOF rendring). Please post any comments so I can make my character more kick-ass than he already is (in AD&D terms - he has 5 16 level attributes and one 15... all rolled with the GM's dice infront of the rest of the player group ;b )

Great job. I don't think the blurring is a problem... just makes it look like movement. You've done a good job with the expression aswell ... I've found doing war-cry yells a bit tricky in the past. This is really good.

The blurring is what makes this image feel alive - nice job
