I would think the castle always has a dampness problem from being in contact with the water.very beautiful entrance and capture

This angle definitely has a feel of Ruritania to it, Rita. ( see Anthony Hope's novels, RUPERT OF HENTZAU ( filmed but no copies left ) and PRISONER OF ZENDA ( filmed 1915, 1925, 1937, 1952 ) Regards, John.

That tower, I can see the resident lady leaning out on a day such as this watching the water fowl swimming lazily by and her dreaming.... What a gorgeous shot again. This castle is a superb piece of architecture, and your shots of it show it in all it's glory... Thank you Rita for sharing these wonderful pictures which are most magical...
