Description

This image was a lot of fun to make. The room was built in "3D Home Architect" and exported as a .3DS file. I then imported it into V5I and retextured all the materials. For some reason when the file gets imported into Vue it becomes flat, like it has no textures at all. You have to remap all the materials to get them to look right in Vue. Time consuming but the results are really cool!!! Christmas tree from DAZ3D.

Excellent. Nice & crisp. Maybe a bit more shadow work. It's a bit too bright near the ceiling IMHO. Still an excellent render.

Excellent use of Panorama option!...seem's like a pain to use textures and mats. that aren't recognized by Vue5I....awesome work!

Your materials are excellent. I really like how you made the fire. Would like to know how you set up your lighting. About the mats: if they were procedurals before exporting, Vue can't recognize them.

Congratulations on an excellent scene. I had the same issue importing a .3DS from Carrara. I had to re-texture all the images.
