Description

Donar, first Son of Odin and Freya, the gatekeeper and protector of Midgard, the Ases and Humans. He sends thunder and lightening to the earth. I tried to work at the Element-series again and as I thought how to figure out thunder, Donar came into my mind. Maybe this is not exactly the mythological sight of him, but the walkyries should like their boss to, shouldn't they *giggle* I do not often work with M3, but I went shopping and the armor Donar is wearing invited me to create an image with Michael. Placed a lot of displacement and rendered in P5, some AO shadows and my signare done in PS7. Used: M3, Morph by kirisute, Texture is my Fantasy warrior for V3 outfit by Vampir3Princess and Lesthat, Hammer by DigitalLion, Props for background by DM and DAZ Pose by schlabber, modified and lights by me.

Very well done. I LIke the light work and the skin on him. Very nice render, the shadows looks fantastiq, and very nie composition.

Great use of light and expression! And in fact: That's the way I always imagined Donar. Not an old folk with a beard but more the you bodybuilder-typed kind of guy.

Hey! Someone mentioned valkyries? :O Do you think he will beat me so hard if i try to sneak over? ;D So powerful and strong looking - does not like a fun guy, but surely one i don't want to get messed with (except if there are valkyries nearby, obviously... :D) - and so surprised to see you using M3!! I thought you were done with him after the farmer!!! LOL! ;)
