Description
This my first upload to renderosity. I'm a complete beginner. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Not bad, for a first upload. I think you image will be more attractive with a better point of view: e.g., try to place the camera in the gap. But be careful with the end of the terrain ;) . You can use the 3-D view in order to find a good view easily. Good luck.

Welcome, great start! IMHO I would spend more time on the layering, try looking in the tutorial section on this site

Super start. The only thing I would say is render bigger. I think 1200x900 is the largest you can go with with unregistered version. Go onto the help area and get tips for surfaces etc and down load as many surfaces atmo etc as you can then play with them to see how thay work. I'm no expert I'm still leaning myself, but this has worked for me.

Asaf, your work is truly wonderful for a very beginner. Like any art medium, it takes time to master these digital graphics programs. There is much free stuff in Terragen and if you will look at some other galleries of artists who work in Terragen, you can get some tips and ideas. Best of luck to you!
