Description
Don't know the the latin name of this plant, always referred to them as milkweed pods. They looked so graceful just had to take a photo.

Thanks for bringing back the memories. I was raised in Arizona, and you got me thinking about these - they also reminded me of the "Devil's Horn" plant. You are right about the graceful forms and the amazing variety of life one finds in the desert - even more so than in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. A terrific image!
