Description

The idea comes from a challenge in the Carrara/RDS forum . AzChip told us "show me the money" . So i did . I guess lots of european people know that feeling . The euro change comes in January ... That means a few administrative procedures and a lot of mental calculation when you wanna buy something ! And no, there's no escape ... ;) Modeled and rendered in Carrara . Post-render in Photoshop . Please comment !

nice pic, very realistic. i though carrera was a budget package but it looks like it has got a good renderer, did u use GI or radiosity. or did u fake it?

Good, really real (!) - Have you use Kpt Equalizer or Melancolytron for post? Or simply blur? Anyway very good, light and model.

Thanks for your comments, guys Nixworks . Actually, it's all fake, just five lights with soft shadows . Carrara doesn't have any Radiosity engine, but it does have Global Environment . The reason why i haven't used GI is because i didn't find the need for it on this pic . TOXE, for the blur i've rendered using the Distance G-Buffer . Then i used it to generate a selection in Photoshop and apply a gaussian blur . There was several bluring steps for the DOF .
