Description

My 3rd render for my gallery! Experimenting with the material on the landscape. Hope it looks ok?! Once again a slight sharpen after rendering it. Please, please, please give any comments and feedback so I can improve. Thanks! UPDATED : 15th Dec 2005 Thanks for all these helpful comments. I have re-worked the sea foam material and added more noise to it so it looks less pixelated, and also taken the image into Photoshop and Unsharpen-Mask'd it!! Think it looks better than the original. Cheers :)

The terrain work & textures are very good. There are some issues with pixellation on the shoreline textures, as I see it, though. Also, take care when sharpening the image :) My suggestion would be to use the "Unsharp Mask" (Photoshop) with low settings, then repeat it untill it's overdone, and then step back for the final result. Anyway, fine work!

Lovely atmosphere and mood! And I agree about the terrains. They're stunning! Is the seafoam one of the free water MATs from... I think it was RDNA? I had the same problem with them. If I figure out a way to make a better version, I'll post it as a freebie.

Wonderful detail, Haze and lighting.. Keep an eye on the lack of shadow tones{slightly darker} on the seafoam up against the rocks in shadowed areas. But this is a minor detail to some cool work.
