Glue: Here I used it to produce thin, transparent layers and generate the texture. It reacts different with charcoal and ink. While it takes some of the charcoal pigments and gets some color, it cracks ink and makes it more "gloomy". Of course different kind of glues react different. For this I used UHU, a known brand in germany, which is available in huge containers. It's advantages are that it dries really fast. But it is a mess to work with. I also burned one painting, because I was lighting a cigarette...
