Mount Hood, Oregon, U.S.A. at about 9.000 feet, North side.
Mt. known as Wy-East originally. Great to find something growing above timberline...

I almost missed this one (the thumbnail was so tiny). I love the contrasts in colours, and it's a fine exposure, but may I recommend larger thumbnails? Great shot Bill!

Ah yes, love to find blooming flowers high in the mountains! Joining Troy in her comments! Without the blue sky it could have resembled the moon or Mars! :)
