Description

One of the better views of Mt. Hood from a snowshoe hike we did on Saturday. It was such a great day we all ended up in shirtsleeves. It was much warmer up on the mountain at 6000 feet than it was down in the valley where I took the frozen falls pics of my previous two posts. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

What a fantastic view of the mountain you had, and what a great picture you took of it. Who would have thought you would be snowshoeing in shirtsleeves in December!

Excellent capture! I envy you having enough snow for 'shoeing! You might want to try recomposing this with the bottom cropped to the streambed, it might bring more attention to the peak.

It's funny to experience the weird temperature differences, up there in the sunlight reflected also by the snow it can even feel pretty warm. Gorgeous work, love the winter mood here! :)
