A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

I like this season very much. Not because of the cold, rather I would have it warm, but because it is a time when not much art is being created outside. Though this season lacks colour, it makes up for it in so many other ways. Thank you for sharing.

The blue in this picture makes it seem so wonderfully cold. Thank you for the comment on Baikal Teal. We were in Tucson at the same time! I have only been birding for a couple of years; there are not that many different birds where I live. You have to go to the riparian areas to see most of them, or up into the mountains.
