Description
Waterloo - Summer 2005 - In the day 9 of August I am been at Waterloo where in past was raised a high hill with the well-known lion that looks at the field of the battle between Napoleon Bonaparte and the European troops allied. This well-known lion keeps watch symbolically on the peace in Europe.
Very sorry that in the moment of this my shot was very cloudy and there was little brightness!! I hope that this my shot made with the heart pleases you equally!

That's amazing, Kate... I was living close to this place for 12 years in my life (roughly from 1959 till 1971)(my mother still lives in Waterloo) Very nice to see see an image captured by an Italian photographer... Mostly people from the UK come there to commemorate the victory and Napoleon's defeat ! ! Excellent POV ! :~)
