Description
Similar to a previous image of mine, this was just an experiment in lighting and processing to achieve a more dramatic look. I rendered twice with different lighting set-ups, and then combined the images in photoshop as follows:
Base: Shadowed image with highlight on side
Layer1: Brighter rendered image at 30%
Layer2: As Layer1, but blurred, set to Colour Dodge and 100%
Layer3: As layer2 but soft light at 50%
Layer4: Curves adjustment to brighten the whole image.
Nothing magical about all this but I thought it turned out quite good and thought it was worth sharing.
