Hello my friends.
This is my first painted carving.it measures 7'' tall. has real cristals.
What do you think? Are some carvings better painted?

I too agree with Chalga, I like to see the wood grains. Maybe for color the colored stains very washed out for just a hint of color.Your wood carvings are spectacular. Marge

Your work is always stunning carver, whether painted or not. But I think it suits this piece.

I will admit that this piece does look good, but I tend to prefer to see the wood textures in wood carvings.
