Description

Another version of the image with the lonely, drunken robot. This time with some NPR render mixed into the toon version. Thanks for having a look on this one too :)

This is fun! Especially since the Dutch phrase "in de olie zijn" (being in oil) means being monumentally drunk. Love it!

There is nothing worse than being sober at the holidays after decades of egg nog and brandy, whiskey and gin. The few friends who stopped over for a free beer are gone and the waitress who was so eager for a tip glowers. George Bush knows why I'm saying this but he has no real empathy with this empowerment. "Some find a new drunkeness." (from the AA Big Book)

Oh how cool, I love it! That pose is so wonderfully dejected (if you can use those two words together?) and the shading is a great effect. I guess this is what happens when you drink the entire oil can yourself! ;-)

No question the days of Jim Beam eggnogg are through and there's always a new time for you to be you. Splendid image, windows to the soul.

I really like this one. I think the effect is quite stunning. Makes a great change from the highly realistic renders we usually see (and do). Excellent work.
