Description

As I continued my night walk around the Hilton Hotel in Waikoloa on the Big Island, I came across many of these vases weighing a few tons and made of some type of rock with intricate designs cut into each one. Hard to make out the detail in this light. Each one was around 6-8' tall. There were about a dozen of these type vases scattered around the entrances of each of the main room entrances. This hotel has many paintings and different types of art work adorning the hallways and walls of every walkway in this hotel. You could spend a week there trying to see it all, but alas one night was all I had....more to come of the Hilton... Thanks for your kind comments on my first image "Hilton Waikoloa" and a great week to you all! Aloha!

Very impressive. Yes, nowadays, many of these luxtury hotels have started collecting paintings and such creative work. It is good for the craftsmen. Excellent picture.
