Description

A special thanks to Dan Kuzmenka for pointing me to the modulated iteration function for coloring algorithms, which greatly assists color isolation through spiral segments, and for the continuing excellence of his work. Also, this image contains one of Carol's-(aka CarolSassy)- nuclear gradients-(Folks, you cannot believe how hard this girl works on these!: each gradient must contain AT LEAST 300 vertices!!)-but substantially toned down to mitigate potential radioactive impact... Thanks Carol! UF 4.01 and PhotoShop 5.5. Thanks for all views/comments/criticisms....

Absolutely stunning! I like the subtle shades of blue. Nicely desaturated coloring. Cool fin shapes and textures too. Looks very 3d. The lighting is just right. A real winnner! :D
