Description

"That gloomy outside, like a rusty chest, contains the shoring treasure of a soul resolved and brave." --John Dryden

I continue my 'RUST' series with another view of the subject from Rust Bumps I. It is something I posted a full view of in my gallery some months back. Anyone have any idea what it may be? And no, it is not a detail of Punaguy's (David's) old car. ;'] -----
THANK YOU!

Thanks so much for your great comments on my upload yesterday, 500 IMAGES. It was gallery ID = 1111900 by the way -- sort of a nice symmetry. :o] I put it in the Mixed Media gallery so you may have missed it if you just browse the photo gallery.

What caught my eye this time, is how the little dots of rust look like miniature mandelbrot fractals! Nature imitates art imitates nature...Nice series!!!

Hmmmm....Come to think of it? I does look like PunaGuy's truck. And his truck is a Cadillac as compared to mines, lol. The color of rust on the top left reminds me of the world weather satellite images. Excellent work Kort. Aloha

It is incredible but perhaps unsurprising that you have articulated rust to fit neatly alongside other dainties such as daffodils or a smiling child. Subtleties are often lacking in our modern culture - with constant moving imagery bombarding us with the obvious; but your work brings us the necessary pause that reflection requires. Thank you for the years of skill you have spent refining your art.

Dang! I thought for sure it was my old ride...but on closer examination I see that there isn't nearly enough rust and holes in it...Way to go Kort...! Aloha!
