Description

Mostly Ultrafractal I'm not sure about this image but it has been a while since I have played with flames, so I enjoyed building it. I really do like flames. The flame layers were born in Apophysis and then adjusted beyond recognition using the explore window in UF. The explore window worked well but not as well as the apo triangles do. Still, it served its purpose by allowing the layers to be done in context with each other. Designing flame layers in context with each other, and coloring them, are the strongest advantages of doing them in UF. It's tough to do either one after they are rendered and then assembled in programs like Photoshop

Excellent work. The liquidy molten surface is gorgeous. Very kind of you to include the information about how you created this.

It looks like it is gliding on the ocean floor of silver! Very lovely palette and feel!

Different. I rather like it. The background does look like a smooth liquid. Thanks for sharing your method.

Neato! I like the colors a lot. They remind me of the inside of a deep-sea creature.

Its a very nice compo as the bottom is a sea bottom ?? then its maybe interresting to use a sofr sandtexture in the foreground No idea of i explain that good But i see in my fantasy left bottom part the water, background layer the air arms of water in the foreground and i think that a soft tranparant sandtexture on the bottom shall give it a nice extra realistic feel sorry for this long story :-)

One of your most artistic and beautiful images, Keith. I love everything about the composition. The delicately formed and detailed design, perspective, flow, irridescent coloring- all outstanding.

I posted a comment earlier, but for some reason, I don't see it. Anyway, I love this image. It is a bit different but it has all the qualities of one of your images: beatiful design, fantastic depth and sumptuous colors.

An absolute gem of an image but not a pearl. That appears to be missing.
